Bully Busters
This is a club where students help rid our school of bullying! Mrs. Kujat is the adviser for this program and Mrs. Gomez and Mrs. Gawlik help in it as well. The staff meet with the students the first and third Monday of each month during lunchtime. To become part of Bully Busters the students must fill out an application which includes getting a signature from three teachers that will vouch for their good character. They must also have a GPA or 2.0 or higher and have zero behavior referrals. The students learn different types of bullying, consequences of bullying, strategies on how to handle different bullying situations. They also learn how to engage in responsible reporting and build resilience to break the victim cycle.
Computer Club/Zero Hour
Mrs. Henderson runs the computer club/zero hour and it is every morning before school in the computer lab from 7:15 - 7:45 am. They are in charge of this awesome website and keeping it all up-to-date! Students who have work to catch up on or need to use a computer for schoolwork can also come in anytime to work. Anyone is welcome so you can show up any day!
